A masterpiece in every facet 
Discover a completely new level of facial tanning with the Jewel’s unique full-LED face tanner. This product was made to shine (literally). It’s a technological gem that has been specially developed for huge improvements in performance as well as being a fantastic energy saver. In this face tanner we have combined UV-A PowerLEDs, UV-B PowerLEDs, red LEDs and yellow LED light; the perfect combination for an instantly-visible tanning effect, soft, cared-for skin and a revitalised feeling. A real masterpiece!

LED there be... more light! 
With 176 UV-A PowerLEDs at 365 nm, Jewel makes maximum use of the direct pigmentation potential within the spectrum, while showing a relatively low erythema A value. That means a lot of power, for an intensive tanning boost, while adhering to the standards. 16 UV-B PowerLEDs at 308 nm provide indirect pigmentation and make use of the most effective part of the light spectrum for building up vitamin D.

Red light 
The skin is nourished by 68 LEDs with red light at 630 nm; the most effective spectrum for active collagen production, for beautifully soft and supple skin. At the same time, the skin is extra activated for more intensive tanning.

Yellow light 
Carefully-positioned LED tracks of yellow light at 595 nm have been added for a powerful energy boost. Yellow light is known to give you energy and help you feel revitalised. So, enjoy some relaxation time during a tanning session and you’re ready to face the world again!

BOS Tanning booster - LEDs for the body

Powerful tanning boosters
The BOS Tanning boosters are unique tanning boosters with a high direct pigmentation value that produce a super-fast tanning effect. Remarkably, these boosters show a low erythema A value, but achieve a high pigmentation value. So, don’t let these BOS’s fool you, because at just 0.2W/ m2, they still have extraordinarily high tanning power.

Facts & figures: 

• Each booster has 25 broadband red LEDs at 630 nm and 25 UV-A PowerLEDs at 365 nm
• Each booster consists of 5 separate LED elements that are connected to each other
• Each reflector cup has a toric reflector for perfect diffusion of the light across the body

BOS Boosters and low pressure lamps in Jewel are the perfect combination. Although the power of the low-pressure lamps is 100 W per lamp (which reduces energy consumption), combined with UV LED technology, it gives an amazing tanning sensation, better than standard beds fully equipped with low-pressure lamps. Shoulder-necktanner bench & Shouldertanner extension

An entirely new extension not only gives the Jewel an iconic look, it also facilitates the use of LEDs on those parts of the body that are harder to tan; the shoulders and neck.

Shouldertanner extension 
The integrated shoulder tanners are equipped with 16 x UV-A, 2 x UV-B PowerLEDs and 8 x red LEDs, just like the ones used in the face tanner. Thanks to the toric and faceted reflector cups, the light is spread evenly over the entire shoulder area, without creating points of high-concentration. By focusing each reflector cup specifically on the shoulders, we can prevent unnecessary scattered light.

Shoulder-necktanner bench 
The bed is equipped with a unique neck- and shoulder tanner and reflector. 10 x UV-A PowerLEDs, 5 x red LEDs and a uniquely shaped reflector guarantee the perfect tanning result.

IP Control

The optimum performance guarantee 
Naturally, the Jewel comes equipped with Luxura’s unique IP control (Intelligent Power system); intelligent software that keeps control of the lamps’ power supply and ensures the lamps’ output is constant throughout the entire lifespan. At the same time, the system monitors the optimum values within the 0.3W/m2 UV Type 3 and UV Type 5 standards. The known advantages of IP Control: • Increases the lifespan of the lamps up to 1200 hours of use. • Adjustable ballasts make it possible to control each lamp individually, so that lamps that are further away from the body can be given more power to compensate for the distance from the body. This means the entire body receives the same dose of UV light.

IP Control & Jewel 
Previously, the above was only applicable to low-pressure lamps. In the Jewel however, IP Control is also applicable to all of the LEDs in the device. You therefore now have full control over all of the light in the entire sunbed. In addition, the output from the LEDs is compensated; even though there is only minimal deterioration throughout the LEDs’ entire lifespan, this is also corrected through IP Control.

Insight into UV exposure 
Unique calculation software gives us the option to simulate and calculate the full UV exposure over the entire body. This gives us a perfect view of what the diffusion of the UV light over the body looks like and allows us to determine on that basis, exactly how the LEDs and lamps should be controlled. So we can tune all the light perfectly for an even tan over the entire body, like you’ve never seen before.

New Xsens

Xsens 
To diffuse a delicious scent in the Jewel, sachet filled with intensely scented wood chips are used. This sachet is very simple to use, as it can be easily carried and replaced. In addition, it is also more favourable in price.
